Air Law

If you cross from the runway to the apron, you can pass without calling up. Once

you have passed the sign and the marking on the taxiway, you are clear of the
                runway.

When you taxi through an exit or entry area,

you will encounter the red sign that says “15

                                                        APCH.”

You must then have permission to pass the

                                                        end of the runway.

These markings have made the waiting

                position clearer.

When taxiing on the runway, you can see what
the taxiways are called. This sign shows that

                                                     taxiway B goes left.

The number "3" to the right of the runway indicates

that there are 3,000 feet remaining of the runway.

                                                     If yellow markings

like these are painted on the runway, and the
red ILS sign is visible, it means that you must

use this marked waiting position to avoid

interfering with ILS signals for arriving aircraft.

When this waiting position is required, it is usually not good weather for VFR

flying, so you will likely rarely use this waiting position.
