                Above the control zones is the Copenhagen TMA, which consists of the Roskilde

                and Copenhagen (Kastrup) TMA’s. On the Copenhagen Area map 1:250,000,
                the area is detailed.

                1.4.6     Visual flight rules


                When flying, you must fly in visual meteorological conditions (VMC), unless you

                have received permission to fly Special VFR from a tower control unit.




























                Visual  conditions  mean  that  there  are  requirements  for  visibility  and  cloud

                height  that  must  be  met.  The  requirements  can  be  seen  in  the  illustration

                above.


                *For an aircraft established in the landing circuit at an airport, flight is allowed with a visibility
                of at least 1.5 km, clear of clouds, and the airport in sight.




                1.4.6.1     Airspace


                In the diagram above, you can see how the VFR classification works in different

                airspace classes.

                As shown in the diagram, there are roughly two different types of requirements

                for VFR flight: requirements in the red area and requirements in the white area.
