3.5 The traffic circle
The remainder of the approach depends on which runway is in use.
If the wind is from the west, it is best to land on the runway that goes in a
westerly direction, so that we land against the direction of the wind.
We then have 2 options, either a direct right base, or via NORTH and then west
of the square and then a left hand approach south of the square to runway 27.
If you look closely on the ICAO map 1:500,000 you will be able to see Billund and
Karup LTA. West of Karup LTA is the Copenhagen Information we shall call flight
information.
3.5.1 Track numbers
The image here shows the design of the track and the taxiways.
Lane 27 runs in the direction approx. 270 magnetic degrees.
