Career: Joined DJB in 2006 following a career at Osborne Clarke.
Career Highlights:
• Lead lawyer on development of the former Thales site at Gatwick Road, Crawley for Surrey County Council; drafting, negotiating and completing Agreements for Lease for each phase of the development, including for the new regional HQ for South East Coast Ambulance Trust and the development of the L3 London Training Centre
• £14m disposal of a site to Waitrose for redevelopment into a superstore with residential accommodation including provision for a new community facility building

Career: Joined DJB in 2012 following a career in both private practice and in-house within Local Government.
Career Highlights:
• Lead lawyer on the mixed-use regeneration of Sheerwater for Woking Borough Council
• Regeneration schemes for Slough Borough Council involving seven key sites for a variety of regeneration uses
• Acting for Exeter Science Park Limited in the development, management and expansion of Exeter Science Park

Career: Joined DJB in 2013 following a career as Head of Real Estate at Brabners LLP. Tony specialises in property development and regeneration.

• Peel Media Ltd’s Media City project at Salford Quays involving the relocation of various BBC departments including BBC Sport
• Negotiated a Grant Funding Agreement for Salford City Council’s Greengate Development, a 40,000 sq m mixed-use scheme
• Flagship development scheme for Bolton MBC, involving the construction of a new sports research facility for Bolton University and leisure and wellbeing centre for Bolton PCT
MELANIE GREER-WALKER
PQE: 17 years
Career: Joined DJB in 2018 following a career at Fresh elds Bruckhaus Deringer and in-house at One Housing Group Ltd.
Career Highlights:
• Collaborative three-year Development Agreement between Chichester BC and Countryside Properties (UK), aiming to build 1,500 new homes, a primary school, high street, play areas and community hub
• Development of The Shard, London Bridge by Sellar Property Group
• £23m conditional sale of a large warehouse site for redevelopment into 50 student units for King’s College for Martinspeed Limited
