to this attitude, you will finally become a person of purity.
The key to holiness is “the condition of being sufficient in
God.” David confesses that “The the Lord is my shepherd, I
lack nothing.” (Palms 23:1 NIV). It can also be translated as
“I shall not want.” It means, since God is with me, there is no
desire for other things.
Habakkuk’s description of faith can also serve as the key to
Holiness.
“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on
the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no
food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd
in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in
the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18 NIV).
Do not think that prophesying serves as a tool for money
or means of gaining fame. Such a person will be sharply
rebuked.
“But Peter said to him, ‘“May your silver perish with you,
because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with
money!”’“ (Acts 8:20 NIV).
