Colours
I looked up to the sky, Colours..... (colours).....
then at the world Mixing in my mind.....
I saw it painted yellow Colours..... (colours).....
The sun shone brightly, Helping life unwind....
as the clouds sped past Colours..... (colours).....
My mind began to mellow Painting all my dreams....
I could feel warm heat, Colours..... (colours).....
shining on my brow Shaping all life's themes.....
And my mind felt fuller,
than it did just now Painting rainbows.....
Then I smiled and felt good, In my colourful new world

Painting rainbows in my mind I looked at the ground,
Painting rainbows..... underneath my feet
In my colourful new world And I saw it painted green
Painting rainbows in my mind The grass was moving,
in the gentle breeze
I looked at the stream, Then my mind saw the unseen
as it flowed on by The flow of your hair,
And I saw it painted blue as you tossed your head
The cool tones rippled, The feel of your body,
like the morning dew laid on our bed
Then in my mind I saw you Then the wind blew hard,
You looked so pretty, and the grass moved more
as you stood and smiled I felt sad it was a dream
And I hoped real hard,
that you'd stay a while Painting rainbows.....
Then the water flowed on, In my colourful new world
and you were gone Painting rainbows in my mind
I was alone with the view Painting rainbows.....
