Open Your Eyes
Open Your Eyes was also one of the first ‘poems’ I wrote. I found a
beautiful image of a deer standing alone in a wood, and some-
thing in that image connected with me. I began thinking about all
the things that go on around us in our everyday lives which we
don’t really take any notice of. We are all usually so wrapped up
in what we are doing that we miss the small beautiful things
around us.
