Storm Tree

Storm Tree... This was a difficult write for me, on a topic that I’m
well aware is not something people would expect to be written
about in verse. Most people who read this will think it’s purely
about a tree in a meadow, whereas in actual fact that tree repre-
sents me. This is actually about rape, but I wanted to distance
myself from being the main character. It’s about the struggles
encountered during rape. Maybe if you read it once more you will
understand.
