There are many other artists such as Mikkel Orlig-
ur, The Hilljacks, Wilfred Saulneir, I could go on.
Volume 2 became so popular that before it went
out we had artists demanding to be on a Volume 3,
which we are starting to get together now. Francis
meanwhile has been ill, and is having a bad time
healthwise. but he is determined to be part of both
the group and the CD’s. We have decided if we can
get sponsors we will hold a country music festi-
val in Ireland, bringing some of this talent over to
perform, and maybe a few more well known names
too. Since Volume 2 was released , one of the artists
on the CD is also a DJ, Mary K Burke. She has
been a big part of getting the CD’s some airplay
along with Don Hollander. I am forever grateful.
Mary herself is an excellent singer of both Country
and Folk songs.

I would find it hard to choose a favourite from any
of our CD’s, but our group is doing well over the
300 mark. Many singers and songwriters in our
group try to support each other, and be like a kind
of family if you will. One such artist Brian ‘the hat’
Duckworth when Francis was feeling poorly made
Robert him a video singing two songs and a message to
say get well.. In the near future we have a tribute
Hiscock to Francis Donnelly where many of the artists give

their time free of charge to pay tribute to a very real
gentleman. That is happening on the 10th march,
our next step is the country music festival. We
hope to hold it in Draperstown, Northern Ireland
over a two day period. We have a lot of people
interested, but unfortuneitly no sponsors. so we are
putting out a call for sponsors of a Country Music
Festival in Northern Ireland. We intend to involve
truckers, line dancers the whole works. Finally,
one person who joined our group and has been a
big help is Jim Whitman. I dont think I need tell
much about Jim as he is quite well known, but we
hope to be working together in the near future.
