8 Coronavirus? Not in our Mag

Of all the changes and events the world throws at us, one tops the head-
lines constantly this month. Of course, the COVID-19 Coronavirus
is foremost in all of our minds and is affecting the world in practically
everyway it can. For us, it has decimated our sporting pages as all large
gatherings are now a no-go area.

12 That’s just about the only casualty for SAFFER Worldwide for the time
being, the rest of the articles are flowing with their normal magnificence.

There is a little aviation feel to the magazine this month with our boss
featuring the brand new Chopper Corner. Ok, I have to confess here,
apart from being a surfing and music nut, I am also a keen aviator but
don’t tell Vossie or he’ll get me to start writing about some of my more
embarrassing flying tales, of which, I may add, are many.

There are other superb articles afoot from our regulars, Hester goes
hunting with her polaroid (does anybody use that term anymore apart
from me?), we catch up with Cristin as she Chases Yellow Lines in the
14 second outing of this wonderful event and we also fly across to Western
Australia to Esperance with Maureen.

In fact, I do believe we are spoilt in this issue with some amazing pho-
tography and my gratitude goes out to all of our contributors.

Personally, I have just resigned myself to Have Faith and the Sporting
Report this month purely because the WSL has gone off the air until
June. I was hoping to be bringing you reports from South Africas first
events of the year but alas, we must wait a while for that one.
