Editor’s Note: Where Now – for Our Magazine and Radio?
Greetings Kind Folk,
Yes, where do we go with the SAFFER Worldwide platform? Here’s
a few ideas – keeping in mind that the Mission for SWW is to build
friendship bridges – and to be like that voice in the wilderness - for
folk who may be longing to hear a vaguely familiar voice… or read
something unexpected:
• We are keen on “Letters to the Editor.” Share your thoughts –
please keep it positive… and friendly. I already know I’m a muppet so
you don’t have to rub it in.
• How about getting a fun “Classified” section going? Yep, you
let us know about your B&B – or, the CD and DVD’s you have no need
for.
• Veterans, please share a tale or two. We need the space to talk
so, here’s a platform – share a memory… or seven
• The Chopper Corner welcomes contributions from around
the world – no, this is not an aviation magazine but we have a soft spot
for choppers!
Magazine content? We reached out to a few folk asking for sport
contributions – but alas, it seems our requests have, to date, fallen on
deaf ears. We’d love rugby content, both 15 men’s/ ladies and Sevens.
However, we can do with regular contributions from folk who have
a passion for sport, whatever sport it may be… even jukskei… tell us and necessary instructions to get you going! Experience required? NIL.
