Non-Conference Schedule
Maine (Friday August 30 at 12 p.m.)
The Black Bears went 16-5 last season with four ranked wins, including an overtime victory over
Big Ten foe Ohio State.
In six lifetime meetings, the all-time series between Rutgers and Maine is tied at 3-3.
Ball State (Saturday August 31 at 1 p.m.)
The Cardinals went 2-16 last season.
Rutgers is 4-1 lifetime against Ball State, with the last meeting coming in 2015, a 4-0 win.
At UConn (Friday September 6 at 6 p.m.)
Rutgers faced UConn last season in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies went 19-4 overall, winning the BIG EAST and advancing to the second round of the
NCAA Tournament. UConn leads the all-time series against RU 29-2-1.
At St. Joe's (Sunday September 8 at 1 p.m.)
Last season, RU defeated No. 18 St. Joe's on a game-winning goal with 10 minutes to play for a
3-2 margin, ensuring the first ranked win of the season.
The Hawks went 18-3 last season, winning the Atlantic 10 championship to qualify for the NCAA
Tournament. Rutgers leads the all-time series against the Hawks 19-8.
Delaware (Friday September 13 at 4 p.m.)
Last season, Rutgers defeated Delaware 2-1 on the road as Kassidy Shetler scored the game-
winning goal early in the second half.
Delaware went 13-7 last season. The Blue Hens lead the all-time series 19-9-3.
At Monmouth (Sunday September 15 at 2 p.m.)
The all-time series between these two New Jersey teams is even at 4-4.
Monmouth went 13-7 last season, winning the MAAC to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
Princeton (Friday September 20 at 6 p.m.)
Last season the Scarlet Knights shutout Princeton 1-0, marking the highest-ranked victory in
school history and the first win for RU over the Tigers since 1995.
Princeton went 15-5 last season, winning the Ivy League and earning two victories in the NCAA
Tournament to advance to the semifinals. The Tigers lead the all-time series 19-4-1.
Vs. UC Davis (Saturday October 5 at 1 p.m. at neutral site – University of Iowa)
UC Davis went 6-13 last season.
This will be the first ever meeting of these two schools
Temple (Sunday October 27 at 1 p.m.)
The Owls lead the all-time series 23-11-2. With 36 lifetime games, this is the most games Rutgers
has played against any one team.
Temple went 2-16 last season.
