Thyroid Gland
This gland is found in the front part
of the neck.
The thyroid hormone is responsible
for controlling metabolism rate and
energy levels.
Parathyroid Gland
The parathyroid gland is also located
in the front of the neck.
It secretes parathyroid hormone
which maintains calcium levels in the
bone and blood.
Thymus Gland
The thymus gland is located in the
upper torso. It is only active until
puberty and produces hormones needed
for the development of the T-cell.
