13. In the case of an adverse reaction:
a) Notify check-out room nurse of patient experiencing adverse event
b) Provide support to nurse as needed (for example notifying MD, retrieving
wheelchair, calling for Code Blue)

c) Continue to monitor patients in check-out area. If another patient experiences

an adverse reaction, call for MD to assist.
d) Reassure patients in check-out area as needed, and help to provide privacy to
patient experiencing reaction.
