My favourite memory of working at St. Mike’s would

have to be delivering my two babies here with the help

of the amazing OB nurses and the rest of the OB team.

It is something I will never forget. The care I received

was like no other.

I feel so lucky to be a labour and delivery nurse and

work with the people I do every day. I could not imagine

being anywhere else. I love what I do, it is truly such an

honour to be a part of some of the most exciting and

life changing moments in my patients and their families

lives. And the babies are pretty darn cute too.

I can’t believe how fast 10 years have gone by. During

these 10 years I have been the recipient of the Syron

Nursing Excellence Award as well as the Theresa Ann

Ford Preceptorship Award, which is such an honour. I
look forward to seeing what the next 10 years will be!
