                       C. Generic Structure of Procedure

                           Text


                   •  Goal/aim  =  contains  the  purpose  of  doing  or
                       operating something. This can be a title of the
                       text.

                   •  Materials/ingredients  =  contains  the  list  and
                       amount of thing, and tools required.

                   •  Steps  =  describe  the  set  of  instructions.  The
                       steps must be the first to the last.


               Note:

                   Not  every  procedure  text  requires  materials  or
               ingredients.  Kinds  of  the  next  that  do  not  require
               materials or ingredients are :

                   -  procedural  text  that  explains  how  something
                       works.
                   -  procedural  text  that  instructs  how  to  do
                       activities along with the rules.
