Operator Facility Rounds
High Flow Rounds Cont.
Effluent Quality
Upstream solids loss, driven by high flows, can impact the final effluent quality. High
Flow Rounds may require more frequent sampling, observations, chemical dosage
adjustments and reporting.
The diligent Operator will notify the Supervisor and make timely Logbook entries
when High Flow Rounds are performed, noting equipment that has been turned on,
turned off, or placed in HAND.
Logbook entries document the changes or adjustments and serves as reminders
through the day if a piece of equipment was temporarily turned on or turned off.
Performing Rounds and only recording observations on a Rounds Sheet has limited
value. Observations or abnormal equipment conditions should be documented in the
Logbook and verbally reported to the Supervisor.
