        TREATMENT OPTIONS
        These include the following.

        •    Monitoring the tumour and leaving it alone.

        •    Cimetidine.  This  is  a  drug  that  is  given  by  mouth  for  a  period  of  3–6  months.  The
             treatment is expensive and is not universally successful. However, a reduction in size or

             disappearance of the tumour occurs in some cases.

        •    Surgical removal of small tumours on the eyelids.
        •    Injection of the chemotherapy drug cisplatin into eyelid tumours.

        •    Surgical removal of the eye if the tumour is causing discomfort or justifies this radical
