             A head and neck cover made from comfortable stretch material can be used to prevent the

        tubing catching on projections and being pulled out. Both of these systems are usually well-
        tolerated by the horse.



        Contact lenses


        Contacts lenses are sometimes used to protect the cornea following an injury. They protect
        the  cornea  from  dust  and  from  drying  out.  Medicated  lenses  are  sometimes  used  as  a

        temporary, emergency treatment.
