escape at the coronary band or from the sole.

Diagnosis
The diagnosis is made on the clinical examination and confirmed by radiography. Pressure
from the keratoma may cause resorption of bone from the pedal bone. This shows up as a
semicircular defect with a smooth outline at the margin of the bone.
Treatment
