Demonstrative
This, that, these, those, are called demonstrative
This and that are used with singular and
uncountable nouns, while these and those are used
plural nouns.
This and these are used for near objects, while that
and those are used for distant objects.
Example : - This is a pen , this is a book , this is my best friend
That is my bag , that is my pencil
3. Conversation
Ara : hi! Della, do you know where my pen ?
Della : that is on the teacher table !
Ara : by the way, who is picket on Wednesday?
Della : me, rania , and Julia
Ara : I, as class president, just want to remind you that
tomorrow you should come early and picket the class,
Della : okay, Ara, I'll tell all my picket group friends later, do you
know where the broom and duster ?
Ara : that is the broom behind the door, that's the duster
beside the window and this is the water spray
Della : Thank you for reminding me
