Coach whipping: covers rails and is worked with an even number of strands.
Seize the strands at one end of the rail and distribute them evenly around its circumference. Split the
strands into two equal groups and interweave them around the rail by taking the top strand on one side
back under the rail and then weaving it under, over, under, over (depending on the number of strands
employed) through the strands on the other side, finally passing the working strand over the rail back
to its own side. Then work the top strand on the other side in the same fashion, then the top strand
