Access to Online Database
The library provides FREE access to the following databases for e journals and e books:
1. Science direct.com
2. Proquest Central .co
3. Info Track 250
4. STARBOOKS
The science direct is a prominent database containing 11,000 professional e-books and
2,500 refereed e-journals. The access to this database is provided by CHED to selected accessible
recipients of Phil e lib like IFSU.
Science and Technology Academic Research Based STARBOOKS is a database
containing digitized collection on the field of science and technology accessible at the
STARBOOK Kiosks in the Reader’s Area and Periodical Section of the library.

I. LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The library Development Plan is a product of the bottoms-up assessment and re-planning
sessions which started December 2013 and culminated on February 20-22,2014 during the
ADCO workshop. The board of regents, regional directors of NEDA and DOST participated
during the workshop. It is incorporated in the University Strategic Plan 2014-2017.
