Classroom Regulations and Management
Discipline
Faculty members must ensure that students are doing meaningful tasks inside the
classroom. Disruptive behaviors are discouraged. However, no faculty member should
inflict corporal punishment on offending students; nor should he/she make deductions in
their scholastic ratings for acts that are clearly not manifestations of poor scholarship.
Violations of existing University policies are referred to the DSSD following the provisions
of the Student Manual. (Lifted from the IFSU Code Part II Academic Manual, Chapter 2
Academic Processes Section 2,2.4.2.-2.2.2.2.1)
Norms of Conduct
All students, by virtue of their enrolment to the institution, shall adhere to existing
rules and regulations of the school. Every student shall wear the prescribed uniform on
the days specified by the University and the College. The prescribed uniform for male for
Monday & Friday is gray Long Sleeve with a native accent paired with gray slacks and
closed leather shoes while the prescribed uniform for female is gray Long Sleeve with a
native accent with ribbon paired with gray skirt, black high heeled closed shoes or has at
least one inch heel with a skin tone stocking. While for Tuesday and Thursday the male
should wear white long sleeve, black slacks and a black leather shoes, for the female is
white long sleeve, black slacks, black lack high heeled closed shoes or has at least one
inch heel. For cooking subjects, the students must wear a complete Laboratory uniform
(Chef uniform, maroon slack and apron, Chef’s hat, hairnet with two (2) working towels
both male and female.
All students shall wear decent
clothes during non-uniform day which is
Wednesday.Every student shall wear the
official identification card (I.D.) at all times
inside the Campus. Every student shall attend
classes promptly & regularly. All students
are likewise encouraged to attend and
participate in University activities
such as Foundation Day programs,
recognition programs & the like.
