As Jack & Jill continues to expand, the Friends Board continues to make a Friends Board

difference thanks to 40 amazing women. During the 2017-2018 year, our signature
fundraising events raised over $316,000 for early childhood education scholarships President
for Broward’s highest-need children. Pat Damoorgian

Our next event, the 17th Annual Light Up Downtown, welcomes the holiday President-Elect
season on November 27 at the Plaza on Las Olas. This year’s event will entertain Sally Beach
children with Santa, carnival rides, and more. Of course, adults will also enjoy the
festivities with hors d’oeuvres and spirits. Please join us as we ring in the holidays. VP Development

In addition to fundraising, the Friends Board supports literacy at Jack & Jill. The VP Volunteers
Friends Board manages the library at Jack & Jill and volunteers in the classrooms Pam Wiggins
with the United Way ReadingPals program. At the monthly Birthday Book Club, we
celebrate each child’s special day with a wrapped, hard-backed book and treats. Secretary
                                                                                                       Sue Wagner
There are other creative ways Friends express their talents
and put smiles on our children’s faces . With the holiday Treasurer
season approaching, some Friends will don their reindeer
antlers and elf hats as Santa’s Helper Workshop will provide Barbara Ryan
