cessation. But, experience (tamdu) means to simply observe the phenomenon, observing its emergence-cessation.
Experiencer
We use the word Experiencer to translate the word Tuaru (ตัวรู้). The experiencer (tuaru) is the mind that does its duty to experience every phenomenon, every natural condition. The experiencer is not a person but has a similar meaning to the mind and mindfulness. The experiencer is also different from the observer, Pudu (ผู้ดู). The observer merely observes but the experiencer actively experiences all the phenomena, all the natural conditions.
Extirpation
We use the word Extirpation to translate the word Samuccheda (สมุจเฉท). Extirpation (samuccheda) gives the sense of a complete destruction or removal of things, in particular, defilements.
Fabricate
We use the word Fabricate to translate the word Prungtaeng (ปรุงแต่ง). Although the word fabricate may have a somewhat negative connotation, in dhamma terms, fabricate could be negative or positive. Fabricating a neutral story until our mind is gloomy—this causes defilements to emerge and is clearly negative. If we plan to do elaborate things for our merit-making ceremony—this is also viewed as a fabrication, but does not cause defilements, so it is not negative.
