AREA IX. LABORATORIES

PARAMETER A ― LABORATORIES, SHOPS/FACILITIES

There is a system of issuing supplies and materials as reflected in the Standard

Operational Instruction (SOI) for Supply Management to ensure that supplies and materials
are delivered to various offices. Requisition Issuance Slip (RIS) are being issued to

requesting party to ensure that the specification and amount issued conform with the request.

After supplies and materials were issued to various offices, it is up to the concerned
office to control and monitor the utilization of supplies and materials. Commonly a specific

person usually the college secretary or clerk is the one in-charge on the safekeeping and
issuance of supplies and materials and a logbook is used to record the issuance of supplies

and materials to concerned individuals in the college or department.
