4. BEST PRACTICES

1. There is a strong financial support for the improvement of the

laboratory facilities in the campus as evidenced by the

simultaneous construction of new laboratory buildings.

2. Laboratory facilities conform to acceptable standards;

arrangement of machines/computer units, furniture and fixtures

is orderly and simplified which facilitates movements of faculty

and students.

3. Laboratory rooms are well lighted and properly ventilated.

4. Safety and precautionary measures are provided and posted in

the laboratory rooms.

5. Laboratory Operations Manual are provided in every computer

laboratory room for use by the faculty and students.

6. There is a system of monitoring to ensure that laboratories and

shops are well-equipped, functional and are conducive to

learning.
