AREA IX. LABORATORIES
PARAMETER A ― LABORATORIES, SHOPS/FACILITIES
2.1. Information Technologies
• There are four (4) computer laboratories housed at the IICT building. Three
rooms equipped with more than 20 computer units each are dedicated for computer
application programming laboratory work and one room equipped with five computer
units serves as a workplace for data communication and hardware servicing.
• There are also four (4) computer laboratories at the Centrum building each
equipped with thirty high-end computer units. These laboratory rooms are dedicated for
Object Oriented Programming and Multimedia Applications.
• There is also one computer laboratory housed at the College of Engineering
equipped with more than twenty computer units dedicated for computer application
programming laboratory work.
• The Internet Center at the main library is air-conditioned, well maintained and is
neat. The computers are maintained and repaired by expert technicians.
2.2. Audio-Visual
• The multimedia center of the University at the De VeNecia Hall is well equipped
with state of the art facilities which is operated and maintained by an audio visual
technician.
• The College has four (4) LCD projectors and the faculty members have their own
computer units that are used in audio-visual production and processes.
2.3. Broadcast Laboratory
• The radio studios that are used by the students as broadcast laboratory are both
FM stations but different in nature. The DWRE 102.9 is a community radio located
inside the campus, specifically at the Central Graduate School Office. The other station
is DWMX (or MYX studio) is a commercialized FM station located at Santiago City.
