AREA IX. LABORATORIES

PARAMETER A ― LABORATORIES, SHOPS/FACILITIES

Present the approved Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP); Annual
Procurement Plan where the laboratory equipment is listed for procurement.

Each department in the University conducts an assessment of their departmental operational
needs every end of the year and based on the identified needs they prepare their Annual
Procurement Plan (APP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) at the start of
the fiscal year for review and approval of the top management. Once their APP and PPMP are

approved purchases are then made according to stated schedule following the standard
procurement procedure. However, emergency purchases are made as the need arises and
necessary adjustments are made on the APP to ensure the amount does not exceed the
budget.
