LASER SCANNING
The new ERA of field surveying is digital reality, using Laser
Scanner technology. Laser scanner can be defined as “any
device that collects 3D coordinates of a given region of the
object’s surface automatically and in a systematic pattern
at a high rate (hundreds or thousands of points per second)
achieving the results (i.e. three-dimensional coordinates) in
(near) real time. “
