offered merger advice, stock and bond underwriting, loan

syndications, and fixed-income trading. An augmentation
to its traditional interest-based income generating

products.

Unfortunately, the bank, and in particular its senior

management, did not live up to its rhetoric e.g. cross-

selling. Also, the question of hubris may arise also – for

senior management size matters!
