Clearinghouse Arrangement

Clearing Arrangement is a form of barter agreement where traders agree
to buy a certain amount of goods from each other that are imported and
exported over a specific time period without the payment of foreign
currencies. Established accounts with each other are debited and
accredited as necessary and at maturity of the arrangement, the balance

is settled in an agreed foreign currency.
