Concise and persuasive is the key.

Present your analysis and the logic that led you to select a

particular solution

Also, discuss the reasons you rejected the other alternatives.

Provide a brief recommendation of action with only the most

pertinent assessment of the facts in support.

If the recommendations have financial implications, these

should set these out clearly, with estimated costs if possible.

Usually there will be very few alternatives that are viable

Your conclusions should be as concise as possible.
