Stages in Preparing a Case Analysis

Stages in preparing a case analysis?

Case analysis is, to a great extent, dependent upon the

identification and understanding of the important aspects of

the situation depicted in the case. In order to achieve this
understanding a means to identify these needs and

important aspects may be achieved through following

               process.

There are a number of stages in preparing a case analysis.

               These are:

                   • understanding the case
                   • identifying the core problem in the case

                   • identify the cause of the problem

                   • analysing the issues in terms of the relevant theory
                   • exploring alternative solutions with in terms of

                       appropriate theory

                   • choosing the best solution

                   • develop an implementation plan
                   • making recommendations for action.
