Although these lists have, in their own right, merit and reflect

               to a great extent contemporary wisdom, they are not

               exhaustive nor do they truly encompass the changing

               dynamics of today’s turbulent educational environment.  The


               value of the business case study does not simply lie in lists or

               typologies but rather in the holistic nature of an integrated

               teaching methodology, linking student; lecturer; case study;

               teaching guide; course materials; and institutional

               parameters.



               Lam’s lists however, facilitates the ability to focus on what is


               called for in case study usage and no matter what approach

               is adopted allows the developer or user to checklist and

               assess what is to be achieved.
