Issues

                       What is the critical issue or problem to be solved?

               This is probably the most crucial part of case study analysis

               and often the hardest thing to come to terms with.
               However, it may be aided by determining the key elements

               that impact within the case study and their criticality e.g.

               their relationship over time

                                  Short                   Medium                  Long Term

                                  Term                      Term

                                Critical                Imperative                 Desirable

                                                          Time

               Try to identify:

                       the key issues in the case;

                       who is the decision maker in the case and;

                       if there is a critical decision to be addressed.

               How an organisation achieves its objectives is at the heart of
               case analysis.

               How it builds and implements its strategy is the last building

               block in case analysis.
