INTRODUCTION
On 23rd March 2020, the U.K., as a result of the Covid-19
pandemic, went into lockdown. This impacted on education
provision dramatically, as face-to-face teaching was no
longer viable. The solution to education provision was
generally to seek on-line resolutions. Two years on, face-to-
face education provision has returned but not as it was prior
to the pandemic. Educational institutions in particular, have
learned from this hiatus that on-line provision offers the
potential for major cost savings. Consequently, although the
fundamentals of business case study development have
changed very little Covid-19 impacted directly on the
delivery of such.
Online delivery of materials was stimulated by the onset of
Covid-19 and for the case method hold a potential for
augmenting and enhancing the learning process. Within the
Case Lab a longitudinal case study based on William Chase
who set-up both Tyrrells Chips and Chase Distillery is
examined. E-resources have a lot to offer and to contribute
to the case method which may be seen from a web site such
as

where, visual stimuli, worked examples, and applied theory
may be explored and developed.
