Marmite

Marmite is a yeast-extract spread

that you either love or hate.

Around 11.6 million jars of

Marmite are sold in the U.K.

annually, generating yearly sales
of about 28 million pounds for the

century-old brand, according to IRI.

In the U.K. Marmite sales rose by 61 percent, some

£335,000 ($410,000), in the week ended Oct. 15 2016

compared with the same period a year earlier, according to

data gatherer, IRI.

For Unilever, the UK accounts for around 5pc of Unilever's

(all product) sales.
