The Business Plan
Unlike most start-up entrepreneurs Hazel had the funds to
back her business proposal. Consequently, Holly suggested
that 'unlike the average start-up business Hazel did not
need to provide a business plan to present to any
prospective lender to support a loan request'.
However, Hazel said she wanted
to develop a business plan to at
least formalise her business
outline as well as to act as a base
line against which she could
measure her progress.
Hazel believed she knew what
caused start-ups to fail and
therefore was determined to
avoid them.
