                                    territory  where  the  activities  take  place‘

                                    (Battaglia  et  al.,  2012).  The  ‗environment‘


                                    stands  for  ‗the  broad  set  of  natural,

                                    anthropological,  economic  and  social  factors


                                    characterizing a specific region‘ (Calabro and

                                    Iraldo  (2002)  cited  in  Battaglia  et  al.,  2012).


                                    The  current  paper  therefore  focuses  on  the

                                    natural  and  anthropological  elements  in  the


                                    management of resources, economic factors in

                                    the  monetary  aspect,  social  factors  in  the

                                    manpower section (where both the visitors and


                                    manpower  of  the  host  destination  aspects  are

                                    considered)  and  ties  this  with  the  marketing


                                    aspect  to  communicate  the  same  to  the

                                    tourists.

                                    Compared  to  most  of  the  other  industries

                                    tourism  is  multi-resource  based  (like  climate,

                                    topography, habitats, ecosystems, etc.) and no


                                    single resource based. The diverse topography


                                    and  rich  heritage  of  India  enables  it  to
