Medicare Dental Expansion Proposals

• The House Ways & Means, Energy & Commerce, and Budget

Committees have passed Medicare Part B dental expansion as

a part of the House’s Budget Reconciliation package

• The proposal needs to be approved by the House Rules

Committee before it can be voted on by the full House

• Senate committees are working on their own version of the

Reconciliation package and Medicare dental expansion, but

have not release any draft text to date

• Official cost estimates for much of the reconciliation package

have yet to be completed by the Congressional Budget Office

(CBO)
