Medicare Advantage
• Medicare Advantage and Part D are optional; government
pays private insurers to provide benefits
• 86% of Medicare Advantage enrollees are in a plan that offers
access to preventative and extensive dental benefits
• 53% of all people on Medicare have dental coverage (through
MA, Medicaid, and private plans)
