Repeal of the Medical Device Tax

• AGD led the Organized Dentistry Coalition’s (ODC) multi-year

effort to support the leading legislative proposal to

permanently repeal the medical device tax, the Protect

Medical Innovation Act

• Represented dentistry before the Senate Finance Committee’s

Health Task Force to examine tax policy, through stakeholder

meetings and official recommendations

• Participated in advocacy efforts by an alliance of medical

device manufacturers, patient groups, providers, hospitals,

other stakeholders

• Generated grassroots activity from AGD members to have

them reach out to members of Congress
