                                                                                                                                          1)  Assess the probability, potential, and leadership requirements of the current opportunities
                                                                                                                                             we’re exploring in contiguous states and far-flung locations

                                                                                                                                          2)  Given that assessment, envision possible future states of the firm in five years

                                                                                                                                          3)  Consider firm-wide leadership requirements for those scenarios

                                                                                                                                          4)  Working with input from the VP’s, understand the strengths and weaknesses of our current
                                                                                                                                             leadership role structure given the current state of the firm

                                                                                                                                          5)  Factoring what we are learning about our current structure into our envisioned 5-year future,
                                                                                                                                             again working with VP input, reach consensus on our best idea for leadership role structure in
                                                                                                                                             5 years

                                                                                                                                          6)  Define possible evolutionary steps from where we are today to that future structure

                                                                                                                                          7)  To begin that evolution, reach consensus on a near-term leadership role structure that we
                                                                                                                                             can use to move a new generation of leaders into key firm-wide roles

                                                                                                                                          8)  As a result of this work, spark renewed energy for pursuit of our strategic goals
