Cornerstone Church Phase 2 Addition-

Construction is beginning on Phase 2 to create the community space that the church
desperately needs beyond the walls of the 3,500 seat sanctuary. 65,000 SF will be dedicated to
several key functions, including a large hall adjacent to an espresso bar and full-service
restaurant. A mezzanine is perched above, offering favored views in a quieter setting. The
upper floor includes a large banquet hall, catering kitchen, and an adult classroom suite. And a
children’s assembly suite resides next to the exterior and peers out onto an outdoor
playground. Construction of the facility will continue through 2024.

               Cornerstone School

Cornerstone Christian School’s K-12 classical education campus is located several blocks from
the church. We are simultaneously working on three separate projects to anticipate their
growing student body. An interior renovation will convert a small band hall into expanded
seating for their overutilized cafeteria. Reliable outdoor dining is also facilitated with the
addition of an outdoor dining pavilion.

Second, the project will add a three story, 26,000 SF classroom addition with a band hall and
black box theater at the lowest level. The façade will acknowledge the historic rhythm of
punched window openings and layered masonry articulation while at the same time creating a
more transparent and inviting 21 century learning institution.

Lastly, a concessions and restroom building will serve existing sports fields with a new
facility that is low maintenance, naturally ventilated, and compatible with while not
imitating the traditional architecture of the campus.
