Northwestern University
Kresge Hall Furniture
Kresge Centennial Hall, built in 1955, houses a significant portion of the arts and humanities classes,
programs and departments within the Judd A. and Marjorie Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences.
The building underwent a major renovation to address expanding programmatic needs, modern
technology and replacement of aging building systems. FGM was selected for the furnishing of all
spaces, including classrooms, faculty offices, seminar rooms, third spaces, and conference rooms.
The furniture budget was $2,800,000.

Wassaja Hall
As we were completing the Bousfield Residence Hall in August 2013, FGM began work on the next
phase of development at Stanley O. Ikenberry Commons, the west campus home to many of the
University’s students. Wassaja Hall, opened in August 2016, provides 500 beds, in a combination of
semi-suite, single and double room configurations, and an extensive array of common spaces. The
project also included construction of a major water detention system and new playing fields. The
total project budget was approximately $80M, and we anticipate receiving LEED Gold
Certification. Mackey Mitchell was our design associate.
