with it. Working on numerous pieces
at a time can mean the artwork can
sometimes take months before it is
complete.

My work tends to be quite abstract and
I use many textiles techniques. I love
screen printing and transfer painting
as I can make instant expressive marks
onto the fabric. I pick my fabrics very
carefully, choosing textures that
represent the theme.
Once I am happy with the fabric
choices I will experiment with layering

and cutting fabrics, often using up to
three layers of fabrics.
