Abstract
The study has designed an an educational game-based learning through the introduction of an an interactive game game game called “bicycle accounting classification game” The game game game was created to stimulate interest in in in in learning basic financial accounting accounting courses that are normally portrayed as as a a a a a a a a a a a serious subject The bicycle accounting accounting classification game tool kit has been developed as as as a a a a a a a a a a a learning and teaching aid to to to enable students to to to collaborate and engage in fin in in the the the financial accounting course The main purpose of the the the study is to identify the the the effectiveness of the tool as a a a a a a a mechanism to to enhance students’ learning motivation investigated through individual psychological needs of autonomy competence and relatedness in in fin in a a a a a a a a a financial accounting course The sampling was implemented to 4 accounting lecturers and one computer science lecturer lecturer in in in a a a a a a small group tryout tryout and 30 non accounting students in in field tryout tryout Questionnaires were used for data collection and analyzed using quantitative methods From the the experimental results it it is is discovered that the the bicycle accounting classification game has contributed to the positive learning motivation in in in in terms of promoting their their learning learning participation and and and improving their their learning learning excitement and and and understanding in in in in in fin the the the financial accounting course given that knowledge organizing and sharing is embedded in in in in in the collaborative gaming environment KEYWORDS: Educational game-based learning learning learning learning motivation accounting education financial accounting course Malaysia
