     Postgraduate graduation
According to Figure 15, the graduation data for Master’s and doctoral students at the University for the period 2022–2024 shows that the number of Master’s graduates increased by 4.2% (8 students) from 2023 to 2024, a minor improvement from the decrease of 14.7% from 2022 to 2023. There was also a significant increase of 41.0% in the number of doctoral graduates, with a total of 117 in 2024 in comparison to 83 in 2023. Among the doctoral graduates, male students constituted the majority, accounting for 60% (a decrease of 3% in comparison to 2023). In contrast, among the Master’s graduates female students were in the majority, making up 59.5%, a 5.9% increase from 2023. In PG graduations SET remained dominant, representing 57% of all Master’s graduates (an increase of 10% in comparison to 2023), while Business/Commerce constituted 36.8% of all doctoral graduates (a decrease of 3.0% in comparison to 2023). Overall these figures highlight the growth in doctoral graduations and the gender distribution among PG students, with males being represented more in doctoral programmes and females in Master’s programmes. SET fields continue to have a significant presence (48.6%) in PG graduations, representing an increase of 12.6% from 2023 at the University.

           Table 2 outlines the number of Master’s and doctoral graduates by faculty from 2022 to 2024. In 2024 the Faculty of Management Sciences recorded the highest number of graduates, with 63 Master’s and 64 doctoral degrees, reflecting a 36.1% increase in doctoral graduates but a 10% decrease in Master’s graduates compared to 2023. The Faculty of Health Sciences showed a 103.7% increase in Master’s graduates, followed by Applied Sciences with a 66.7% increase and the Faculty of Accounting and Informatics with a 9.5% increase. Conversely, the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment experienced a 36.0% decline in Master’s graduates, followed by Arts and Design (41.7%).
